Sr. Systems Engineer

Brief Synopsis – SBC Innovations is seeking talent for two broadly experienced Sr. Systems Engineers to join its team. These individuals will play a critical role in planning, installing, operating, and maintaining the enterprise Windows server and identity Management environment supporting a government partner enterprise IT infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the solutions architect and enterprise architect in service design, service transition, service operations, and interoperability of the enterprise Windows environment within AWS, VMC, and AZURE Hybrid Cloud environment.
• Management of Windows authentication, DNS, o365, ADFS, DHCP, LDAP integration & Identity management.
• Management of VMWare environment.
• Management of Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Management of PKI Certificate Infrastructure.
• Responsible for Secure Baseline development.
• Responsible for planning, installing, and maintaining all Windows Services and ensuring interoperability and solutions supporting the enterprise environment.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding DISA STIG guidance on all systems.
• Responsible for provision of storage.
• Knowledgeable of supporting backup technologies.
• Monitor enterprise environment utilizing Solarwinds.

Preferred:

• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certification.
• Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Certification.
• NETAPP Certifications/experience.
• VMWare Certifications/experience.
• AWS Certifications/experience.
• Security + Certification.
• ITIL.
• Power Shell.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor Degree in computer science or comparable experience.
• 10+ years as a Windows Enterprise Engineer.
• Public Trust Clearance (ability to obtain and maintain).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong consultative and leadership qualities, (i.e., excellent at coordinating and collaborating with GS13+ level to junior engineers effectively)

Period of Performance – Remote, with occasional in office as needed by client

Security Requirements:

• All personnel, including the support required by this initiative, must be United States Citizens and
  must meet the DOJ (Department of Justice) Residency Requirement.
• The minimum investigation required is to be cleared for a US Government Security Eligible Public
  Trust clearance.
• Eligible to receive a Top-Secret Clearance
