SBC Innovations seeks a seasoned Storage Infrastructure Specialist or Senior Storage Engineer with at least 6 years of real-world experience. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our Government Partner with all program-related activities including stakeholder management, configuration and change management processes, and coordination with the system engineers and system admins.

This role requires a proactive approach to storage infrastructure management, combining technical expertise with innovative problem-solving skills.
In this role you will:
- Analyze, capture, architect, design, test, implement, troubleshoot, and provide system improvement recommendations.
- Develop, and update Operations Guides for NOC/Operations engineers.
- Follow an SDLC (system development lifecycle) using proper change control processes and procedures to implement large-scale enterprise technical solutions via phased, multi-implementation platform deployments by identifying and defining requirements, detailed system designing and development, security and system testing, and release.
- Creation of system model and system architecture diagrams and designs, system test plans & test cases, implementation plans, and operations guides.
- Function as a subject matter expert for SAN/NAS Tier 3 troubleshooting, support, and improvement recommendations
- Working Quality Assurance and project management knowledge, processes, and procedures.
- Performing work without appreciable direction and exercising considerable latitude in the determination of technical objectives of assignments.
Qualifications include knowledge and experience within the technical concepts below:
- SAN/NAS Technologies utilizing EMC products
- Unity, Isilon, PURE,
- CTERA, IBMCOS (a plus but not mandatory)
- Experience in Block Replication Technologies, specifically Dell EMC RecoverPoint
- Experience in NAS Replication Technologies (Recovery Point)
- Experience in Cisco MDS Directors and Switches
- Experience in Disaster Recovery planning
Some Supplemental/Preferred Additional Qualifications/Experiences:
- Experience with enterprise-level backup software.
- Such as CommVault Backup Technologies
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field or equivalent experience.
- ITIL Foundations certification

Hybrid Work Schedule: 80% Remote Weekly (1 day onsite weekly)
